Product Description

AS25PP antistatic masterbatch is a kind of composite masterbatch,using homopolymer polypropylene as the carrier, as well as mixed with a variety of imported antistatic materials, it's often used in high quality BOPP film products.

 

Applications

PP film anti-static agent is a highly efficient composite surfactant which to provide long-lasting anti-static properties. The antistatic effect is obvious on thick products and thin film products (such as CPP and BOPP films of polypropylene, etc.), It can greatly reduce the surface resistance of the parts and eliminate electrostatic hazards. It's suitable for BOPP, BOPE, CPP, IPP, IPE and other film products.

Because polypropylene is a typical non-polar polymer material, the water absorption is very poor, when the surface charge generated by friction is difficult to disperse, so that it is very electrostatic. In order to eliminate the charge generated on the membrane surface, an antistatic agent is added. The compatibility of the antistatic masterbatch in polypropylene is enhanced by the interaction between the oleophilic group in the antistatic agent organic matter and polypropylene. On the other hand, the hydrophilic group in the antistatic agent interacts with water in the air to eliminate the static charge accumulated on the surface of the film.
